A new year and new adventures! Well this year seem to already be flying by. In January we rang in the new year and set off on our adventures. Middle of January my mom flew into DC for a set of Title 1 school conferences. So the kids and I packed the car kissed daddy and headed up to meet her for the weekend. We stayed in a luxurious hotel/mall resort in National Park, MD. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend going. It's a new little hip town on the Patomic across from DC. It was fun! We ate out, ordered in and my mom and Brooklyn went swimming. A quick but wonderful weekend with my mom.
We returned back to Virginia Beach, only to find that the following weekend we were snowed in. That was fun! We went hunting for sleds and gloves, as Jay the seasoned NY driver chaffered us around.
This week has been many dates to remember. Our Anniversary was Saturday, which Jay had duty on, and today is Brycen's first birthday!!! How time flies! Now it's the other grandmas turn to see the kids. Keti will be flying in this weekend to help us celebrate Bry's birthday as well as caring for the kids while we go on a much needed anniversary date to the Funny Bone comedy club and Gordon Biersh Brewery for dinner with friends. So excited!!!
